Your bridal skin timeline: when to start treatments before the wedding
A simple guide by Dr Adriana M. Ozery, Doctor Picasso, Limassol
The secret to glowing wedding skin is starting early. Most skin treatments build results over weeks or months, and timing everything well means no swelling or surprises on the big day. Here is the timeline we recommend.
4–6 months before
Book your consultation. This is the ideal time to start courses that improve skin quality: skin boosters such as Profhilo, Jalupro Super Hydro or Nucleofill, microneedling, and chemical peels for texture and tone. Our Bridal Glow Edit is designed to start at this point.
2–3 months before
Continue your course and complete any final skin booster sessions. If pigmentation or texture still bothers you, there is still time for another peel or microneedling session.
6–8 weeks before
The best time for Botox. It needs about two weeks for the full effect, and this leaves time for your review appointment and any small adjustments.
4 weeks before
If you would like lip filler or other fillers, do them now, so any swelling and bruising have fully settled. If it is your first time, consider a trial treatment earlier.
The last 4 weeks
No new treatments. Focus on hydration, sleep and daily SPF. A gentle hydrating treatment is fine if recommended, but this is not the time to try anything new.
