Lip filler in Limassol: what to expect

A simple guide by Dr Adriana M. Ozery, Doctor Picasso, Limassol

Lip filler can add volume, define the lip border, improve symmetry and hydrate the lips. Our approach is always natural: lips that suit your face, not one trend.

1. The consultation

Dr Adriana M. Ozery will look at your lips and your whole face, discuss what you would like to achieve and check your medical history. Bringing photos of lips you like is welcome, but we always aim for a result in proportion with your features.

2. The treatment

A numbing cream is applied first. A hyaluronic acid filler is then placed with a very fine needle or cannula. Most first treatments use about 0.5 to 1 ml. The appointment usually takes around 30–45 minutes.

3. Swelling and healing

Lips swell after treatment, sometimes unevenly, especially for the first two to three days. Small bruises are also possible. This settles within about a week, and the final result is visible after around two weeks.

4. How long do results last?

Lip filler usually lasts around 6–12 months, depending on the product and your metabolism. Hyaluronic acid filler can also be dissolved if ever needed, which makes it a safe and adjustable treatment.

5. Aftercare

Avoid makeup on the lips for 24 hours, and avoid exercise, heat, alcohol and pressure on the area for 24–48 hours. Do not massage your lips unless advised. If you notice anything unusual, such as increasing pain or changes in skin colour, contact us straight away.
